UNISA SPRING CONCEPT

Over the holidays, I roadtripped down to Charleston, SC with a creative team (photographer and stylist) to shoot the UNISA spring website images. Armed with 6 suitcases of wardrobe options (mostly bikinis) and a Yashica T4 film camera, we scouted the entire town for locations to shoot and size 6 foot models. The day of the shoot was colder than we'd hoped (40 degrees) but at least it wasn't raining as it had been all week. The final images are being developed as I type, but here is a peek into our inspiration/concept. We wanted to keep true to the collection as a whole, as well as the brand as a lifestyle, so we juxtaposed preppy polkadots and nautical stripes with tropical florals, utilizing Charleston's palmetto trees and gorgeous downtown shoreline as our backdrop.
